In 2008, pastors Jimmy and Debra pioneered Real Life Church in Traveler's Rest with seven strangers in a hotel room. Our pastors are both graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They also served the Kingdom of God as missionaries, preaching the Gospel in more than 25 nations.

Now, having pioneered RLC, they are committed to our congregation, community, and region.

Cleve and Evonne are life-long residents of the Upstate. They are empowered by an all consuming love for God and His people, they minister non-stop. The Oliphants are worship leaders, staff counselors, and all around awesome. They are a true blessing to the RLC family.

Faithful is the word that describes Sis. Fowler. Committed to keeping the administrative side of the ministry flowing smoothly, Sis. Flower works tirelessly to make sure that communications are flowing and the data is all spot on. She is who to contact if you have any questions regarding the data side of RLC, connect with Sis. Dedicated to Children's education for over a decade, Aja Sherrad shines in her calling of working with children.  Wife, mother, and business owner with a BA in Early Childhood, Aja serves Jesus and His precious children wholeheartedly.

Eric and Lisa Williams are married with 2 children Jonathan and Erin, and 1 grandchild, Bradley. Eric is a coater technician at GE Vernon while Lisa is a homemaker. They have served in ministry together over the last 20+ years in various capacities. They especially enjoy teaching others the biblical principles of living the Christian life.

Mykal and Sarah Moore met at Legacy Charter School where they were both teachers. Sarah now works remotely as a student advisor at a virtual school while Mykal transitioned from education into a sales position in transportation and logistics. Mykal and Sarah have a beautiful, lively 1 year old daughter named Kavanah Joy Moore. Mykal and Sarah both separately knew since middle school that their calling in Christ Jesus involved bringing revival and transformation into the lives of youth.
